Impact Job Fair for Entrepreneurs: Spotlight on solutions to replicate

Throwback on the first virtual Impact Job Fair for Entrepreneurs we hosted on June 9, 2022. Click HERE to watch the recording!

Replicating successful models for social and environmental impact has never been more important to solve our challenges. This is the reason why we hosted this Impact Job Fair, in partnership with Green Jobs Network (a 120,000-member online career platform).

Concretely speaking, this event featured presentations from leaders of social & environmental impact organizations that are looking for people who are interested in replicating their models in local communities worldwide.

It was a "call for entrepreneurs" who are ready to start their own enterprise based on an existing successful model.

There was also an opportunity for questions and answers after the presentations.

Who were the organizations?

Green Salon Collective

Green Salon Collective recycles 100% of waste generated in hair & beauty salons. They use hair to clean up oil spills, they generate clean energy using discarded PPE & general waste, and they even compost the salon towels!

Jamba - Careers for All

JAMBA - Career for All supports people with diverse abilities to attain key competencies, soft and professional skills. They then help them find a suitable job to begin their professional development.

SPEAK connects migrants and refugees with locals living in the same city through community-led online and offline language groups and cultural exchange events.

Ticket for Change

Ticket for Change is a school and a movement for changemakers. They have helped more than 120.000 people in France to find their unique talents to change the world through their work (social and environmental entrepreneurs, people changing careers, corporate changemakers)

We Love Reading (WLR)

WLR changes mindsets through reading to create changemakers. It is an innovative model that empowers communities to foster a love of reading among children 0-12, by focusing on the read-aloud experience in the native language.
