What is it about?
Tourleb is a women led social enterprise and ecotour agency, that promotes responsible tourism to help people - both locals and tourists - to experience authentic, off the beaten track tourism.
They believe in giving back to the communities and empowering women. They don’t take commissions on locals who receive 100% of the money they ask, enabling them to stay in their communities, sustaining a lively local economy.

ABOUT THE co-FOUNDER
Joelle Sfeir
Joelle Sfeir is a social entrepreneur, author, story teller, foodie, dog rescuer, and nature lover, who is dedicated to making you discover the beauty of her country!
Background & awards
She studied in Environment and Land Management in Lebanon and worked for more than 10 years in Canada in communications, editing, copywriting, writing, and event organizing. She has lived between Lebanon and Canada for many years before settling back in Lebanon in 2013.
She started working with her current Associate and Partner Nada Raphael more than 15 years ago. Together they created many events and conferences in Canada (under the company Electrochocks) - before writing a book together, which received the award of “the book of the year” in 2011 by the ADELF Jury (France). This book is the inadvertent start of Tourleb - a wonderful adventure that has been going on for more than 9 years today.
